Are you connecting the BP cable directly to your computer or are you
connecting it to a USB hub that's connected, in turn, to your computer. I've
found that many hubs aren't real compatible with certain devices on certain
computers, so if this is what you're doing, try connecting the BP cable
directly and don't use the hub. There is no driver to install--just install
the Book Port Transfer software from the CD, plug in the BP, and go.

Hi all. I just received my book port today how ever there is a
problem which I hope to get some help with. I tried to plug in the
usb cable, but It does not connect to the bookport. I just receive a
message the usb hub has suceided the power and to click the message
to see what it is about. I found the it is an unknown device. Is
there A driver that I need to install from someware? Help would be
greatly appreasieated.
