I don't consider this a firmware issue either. It's happened for quite some time. Funny, it seems to happen more in some files than in others, and I cannot come up with a thing that would help to determine what is causing it. -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Walt Smith Sent: Thursday, July 28, 2005 3:34 PM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: Problem in newest firmware Eric - Welcome to the list. In my case, I've noticed this behavior ever since I got my PM, which was almost a year ago, I think--don't remember the exact date. Like someone else who commented, I've always just considered it the device's normal behavior, but it sounds to me from the comments here that there might be some variance between units. I run every new beta and do not consider it a firmware issue. -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Eric Pridmore Sent: Thursday, July 28, 2005 4:23 PM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: Problem in newest firmware I often use text files but I've not experienced this problem of backing up to a previous spot. I've had my BP since April 2004. Do you think this is a bug in the new firmware? software? or perhaps something else? By the way, I'm new to this list. This is my first post.
