I agree with Walt on this battery matter.
The more proprietary things are in a unit, the more problem it becomes for
users when things fail.
AA batteries are so cheap these days that I rather just replace them (or use
ni-mh) and have control over the situation.
I,over the years, have probably spent more money on battery packs for
certain devices than the money or convenience they gave me would make it
worth.
