Hi Sandy,
You have a little device that you plug into the headphone jack on your
Bookport. This little device receives the sound output from your Bookport
and transmits it using the Bluetooth technology to your headphones that are
designed to receive the Bluetooth transmission. There is no wire between
your BP and your headphones. But, you do have to plug a Bluetooth device
into the headphone jack on your BP.

Please forgive me. My intent was not to be rude to you. From what I have
read, computers have to be activated to be able to use Bluetooth. If this
is true, the Bookport can't be enabled to use it. Didn't Pamela and/or
Larry say on list some time ago the Bookport couldn't use Bluetooth?
Again... I'm not trying to be rude. I'm looking for information. I would
love to be able to use wireless headphones with the Bookport.
