I'd suggest downloading the latest production version of the transfer
software from the web, installing that, and then upgrading to the beta.
This is what I did for one of my Windows boxes and it was much faster than
loading the software from the cd, starting it up, and having it immediately
tell me to upgrade, and causing me to repeat the process. You could go for
the beta directly, but I'm not sure if you'll get the manual and other
ansilary files.
