Grate idea. I like the idea of a cradle. What if a USB port can be included. The BookPort can rest in the cradle and you can charge and transfor files at the same time. George =---- Motorola uses a similar system to what you guys are thinking about in their Talkabout radios. You can use off-the-shelf AA batteries or rechargeables. There is a battery pack comprised Of three AA size batteries. The charger has two cradles into which you can drop the radio. There are spring-loaded contacts that poke through very small holes in the back of the unit. Or, you can use an insert that's provided and just charge a battery pack without the radio being present. The charger has two ports, and two inserts, and the set-up works quite well. -----Original Message----- .From: "Richard Ring"<_ring.richard@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (mailto:ring.richard@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) > .Sent: 4/20/06 4:18:29 PM .To: "_bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx"<bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (mailto:bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx";<bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) > .Subject: [bookport] Re: New Bookport ideas . .Now, you're talking! .-----Original Message----- .From: _bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) .[mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of _GeorTsoukala@xxxxxxxx (mailto:GeorTsoukala@xxxxxxx) .Sent: Thursday, April 20, 2006 4:04 PM .To: _bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (mailto:bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) .Subject: [bookport] Re: New Bookport ideas . . .This is just an idea.
