David - Doesn't that number mean that you don't have the _new_ version? Shouldn't it be 2.3.0.0 if the new firmware installed? I think that I have 2.2.0.6 and I know for a fact that's the last beta that was made available. And multiple-section version numbers aren't all that unusual in the software business. The last digit generally always means the build number. Thus, for JAWS, the true version number for 7.10 is 7.10.452, meaning that from the day they did the first build, FS ultimately did 452 builds of the full product. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Tanner" <david-tanner@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, August 20, 2006 8:00 PM Subject: [bookport] Re: My update experience No sir, not on mine, and the update went flawlessly. Pressing A and C yields: "version 02.02.00.06". Wow, what a version number. Does that mean that 6 tenth of version 00 of version 02 of version 2 was changed? Obviously a very minor change. They changed 1 line of the code in the new release. Now, Rob and Larry please know I am only teasing....
