The solution I propose does exactly what you want. When you get to the = end of a song, you move to the next one if you have auto advance on, then = when you play those songs again, they start from the beginning. >>> matneyar@xxxxxxx Thursday, May 13, 2004 10:58:15 AM >>> Larry said: ------------------- > The one disadvantage of this solution is that it is another step that the =3D > user has to make. Sure, the flexibility is nice, but given the small =3D > number of cincumstances when a music file would not play from the =3D > beginning and the ease at which that situation is covered with the =3D > Beginning of File command, the freedom from having to make another choice =3D > is obtained at minimum cost to the user. I disagree. there are times when you've listened to, say, an entire Beatles album, and you don't want to reset each song so you can hear it again. My current solution to this problem is just to use a USB reader to transfer the files onto the CF card (this also saves battery life). Of course, I lose the ability to rewind and fast-forward. But ever y time I move from one song to another, the first song is reset to the beginning. This is more important to me than being able to fast-forward during my music selections. So I save the BP transfer tool for text and audio book files. Thanks for listening, all!
