I doubt that a microdrive would work, since they're not indicated as doing so in anything I've seen about compatible cards. There's an excellent place to compare best available prices on all sizes of CompactFlash cards at: http://www.dealram.com This site doesn't sell, it only pulls down prices and provides links so that you can shop at the various vendors. 1 gb cards are now down to around $125, including shipping. ----- Original Message ----- From: <peter.rand@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Bookport " <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, August 12, 2004 3:38 AM Subject: [bookport] Microdrive compatibility? A friend of mine recently got a good deal on a 2.2GB CF card. I think it's one of those CF cards called a "Microdrive" that has an a small built-in harddisk. I understand that there are microdrives as large as 5GB. Will these kind of cards work on the Book Port, or do compatible CF cards have to use flash memory? Peter
