The problem of that would be, if after you locked the BP and wanted the volume to stay the same, you could possibly press the F key accidentally, thus changing your volume. It might not be as serious a problem if the volume went up only in increments, instead of full blast. Another consideration. Wouldn't you lose as far as battery life is concerned?
