I haven't heard of any other version available in DAISY.

The reason that the KJV can be converted is that it is widely available
and in the public domain. Most of your modern translations are
copyrighted and the publishers need to release the source file to be
converted to DAISY.

You might want to try and see if you can redo the markup by opening the
file in a DAISY editor, (if you have the K1000) you might want to try it
there.

Also, have you tried the different combination of keys for navigating a
DAISY book on the Bookport?

Subject: [bookport] KJV bible in daisy format

Hello everyone.

I downloaded a daisy formatted bible from bookshare, but the navigation
doesn't seem to work.

What I mean is, I'd like to move around by book, chapter, and verse.

Does anyone know of a bible marked up like this that I could use for my
bookport?

Thanks,

Jeremy

Let me know if you need further help and I'll go and download the KJV
from Bookshare.

Milton
