I would like to be able to have the settings saved to a file on the BP. This
would save them during battery change.

/David

I like that, and it would seem that that might be easy enough to do,
assuming there is some memory in the BookPort where those configurations
could be saved where they would not be lost when you change batteries. I am
not clear on whether that is possible or not.

:I think this would be simply great. Something else that might be neat was
: introduced in the original Braille 'n Speak: namely, the ability to store
: several user-customized voices. As with anything else, we could go on
: adding up potential perks, but customizable voice settings capable of
being
: saved, and maybe even the ability to make them file-specific, would
enhance
: the unit greatly. The more I think about it, actually, the more strongly
I
: feel about having user definitions which could be stored in flash memory
so
: that no battery change would ever alter them. How about that additional
: wrinkle, Otto?
