What it sounds like is, the organization you got your first BP from bought the case extra. They are quite expensive, and some might think they are not necessary. Executive Products makes the case. I don't have the link, but someone on list will.

You have to buy the leather case. Then why did it come with my old BP?
Someone will have the link for
you. Do you know the manufacturer of that case? Is it made by Springer
Design, or whoever helped APH design the BP? Since you didn't buy the BP
from APH, the seller is responsible
for what is missing. The seller is NCECBVI school, who gets things from
APH, so shouldn't APH be responsible? I know you didn't buy the Bookport
from APH,
because it was stated several months ago they were out of stock. You are
correct. Ear
buds are cheap. I did receive the ear buds with my Bookport, but I have
1000 other pares anyway. You can find them anywhere. I lost mine after
about
two weeks. I can't speak for anyone else, but for me, headphones are
much more comfortable. I do agree, and I have a good sounding pair, that is
small and comfortable that came with my Braille Lit m20 that works well with
the Bookport, but I prefer external speakers. The print version of the
quick start guide
won't help you. You are correct! Can I get it on line some ware? Perhaps
APH would send you both Braille and print
copies, though. If they do, I would only need the Braille. I never got a
CD of the tutorial. I did, and it plays in a standard CD player. The same
thing is on it that is on tape. The manual is on
the Bookport itself.

Yes it is, but it is easier to listen to it on tape/CD, read by a actual
human, but I am picky. Besides, I can't even begin to like double talk as
much as I like Eloquence. Why would you want to do a videocast of the
Bookport when it is being
discontinued? Because there is a lot of schools for the blind that still
give Bookports to there students, and we can still get it through funding.
It can still be a valuable tool for everyone in my opinion, even though it
is not being sold. Besides, when BP2 comes out, people will already know
how to operate it. If APH didn't want any training done, they mite as well
discontinue this list, even though there is a lot of members, and it is
still very useful. People can only buy it from individuals... or perhaps
there are retailers in other countries who sell it. I'm not sure about
that.

I mean no offense here. I am just trying to figure out why you would
want to do a Podcast on a product that has been discontinued, The same
reason that I want to do one on the BNS Scholar one
that a lot of people who might be interested won't be able to
buy. I'm not really into Podcasts... or Videocasts, so maybe it's just me.
