[bookport] It stopped reading for no reason

I was reading a web braille book today on my BookPort when it just
suddenly stopped reading.  I hadn't been reading long enough for the
sleep timer to kick in.  Pressing 2 didn't get things started so I
locked and unlocked the buttons and pressed 2 and things were fine.
Any idea why this happened?
