[bookport] Issue with note taker with Beta 27

Hi Folks,
Have noticed this for quite some time but not gotten around to mentioning it.
When checking the current position with both the space bar keys, the line
number never updates when the enter key is pressed or when navigating with up
and down arrows. This only seems to occur on freshly created files. If I close
the file and go back to edit it again, line movement statistics are given.
Any ideas?
