The note taker works only with text files.

Does the notetaker work with .doc files or just .txt file extensions?

to-Moving a file to replace an existing one in another folder: [I previously had transferred some reformatted text files, but failedtheset the desired folder first.]
When I tried to move a file to a folder that already had a file withsame name, I got a message "move failed." I then deleted the file inthetarget folder, went back and marked the file to move, and then themovejames.txt &was successful. I also noticed that the "move" function placed files (such ashebrews.txt) at the top of the list in a folder, whereas using the transfer program places new files at the bottom of the list. However, when I moved a file named 1John.txt, it appeared in the list inproperfilesort order!

Hi folks,
Hear's how to move files: 1. navigate to the file with the * and # keys, note don't open thethiswith key 2 at all. 2. Press * and # together, book port should respond, move. 3. Navigate to the folder to wich you want the file placed. Open it*, 0time with Key 2 so that the first file in it is visible. Now, pressmyand # keys together. Book port should respond File Moved.
Hope this helps some of you. I can assure you that it does work onunit.
Best
