Oh ok can-z when I play books I get around 4 to 5 hours with it whereas standard etext I get about 70 to 80 hours.

In what way does it drain batteries?  Playing audio files battery
life is around 30 hours. About 60 reading text files. If you
use
Lithium AA's, battery life can be up to 100 hours.
