While I can't give you the programmer's explanation, this sort makes
sense for several reasons: 1. In the case of the Daisy books that come
from RFB&D, the CD has to be in place.  2.  In the case of Book Share or
other Daisy files, the way that it works is that even though you're only
transferring the one "OPF" file, it looks ta t the other files in the
Daisy book to get the information.  Besides, you wouldn't want to tie up
your hard drive or Temporary file with all of that, as Daisy files can
be quite large.  So, while I can't explain it all technically, I can
tell you that this makes sense that it is this way.

My husband tried to put a daisy book on the book port, and got the
message "daisy talking books cannot be cued."  He has put daisy
formatted books on there before.  What's the reason for this message and
not being able to transfer some daisy books and not others?
