I suspect that any files should remain. It depends on the name of the
file.

Hi,
I just formatted a 256 meg flash card on the Book Port. When I look at
the
card in my card reader, I see that the card contains one 8k hidden
file. Is
this normal after a format? Should I try to get rid of the file or does
the
card use it for its own purposes?
