I had a few readers like that in college, myself! <g> Seriously, I've got a
Sandisk multiple-card reader that's been working fine for over a year, but I
know what you mean...on my last job, I was given one that died about 60 days
after it was taken out of the box.

True that multi card readers are more flexible. But its hard to go thru
the reviews on various brands and find that they run about half and half.
Half work and half dont work. There does not seem to be any readers that
are very favorable. Many quit working early in their lives. LOL
