You can only do that with unprotected MP3 files. Anything else has to go
through the Transfer program.

Hi all,
I have a regular Bookport that takes a type 1 CF card. What I am
wondering is are we able to simply transfer book files directly to
the CF card using a USB CF card reader? Will the BP then be able to
correctly access and read these files?
