Thanks Rob, for some reason I had the URL for the new BP transfer software not the firmware, and wondered why it alerted me of new FW, but didn't actually load the firmware. The firmware upgrade was successful. If this is not the case, write back. One should NEVER remove their flash card while connected. With that aside, = the problem you are having is that the beta version requires the beta = firmware, and the beta firmware can only be downloaded and executed by = hand; It can't be updated automatically. Simply download the following: www.aph.org/beta/bpfw_beta.exe=20 Run the above with the Book Port connected (and the card installed), and = things should start working properly. Rob Meredith >>> tnoonan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 06/10/04 04:43AM >>> When people said they were having problems with card errors, I attempted a firmware download with card removed, which resulted in a file write error. This is of course logical, since the firmware file is loaded onto the flashcard before being loaded. Since then, however, each time I connect to BP Transfer I am notified of = new firmware, but I never seem to get any further. I've installed the latest BP Transfer version, reverted to 1.0.4 flash = etdc etc, but can't seem to come up with a way to get the firmware update to load. Is there a URL for the firmware, which I could re-flash, as I successfully did with the existing version? Am I missing something here, or is the software confused because of the previously aborted flash download? Thanks Tim
