[bookport] Files landing in the middle of folder

Good morning list. First, I am running two computers; one with xp home and one
with windows me. I have this same problem on both of them. Sometimes when I
transfer files to the bookport, the are put in the middle of the folder instead
of at the end. Is this normal and if not, what can I do about it, Thanks in
