Actually, it's as if the files were cut, then pasted on to the BP memory
card. That is, you don't have to delete them from the queue folder--they
"disappear" from there when they are sent.

It is safe to delete the original files after they are queued. Of course, something could go wrong in the transfer process, or you could empty the queue, losing your original file for good.
