Hi,

I'm not sure why the errors occur. I also get them from time to time. Good to see your using the note taker though and feel free to contact me at any time.

Best

Subject: [bookport] File error when copying to clipboard

Hi

Ok, I have to admit it, i've only just now really started playing with the text editor in bookport. Life has been rather hectic recently, and so until now I just haven't had the time to devote to learning how to use it. First I just want to thank Larry and all at APH for some really great features. I love being able to copy blocks of text and insert them into different files etc. I also think the note taker is wonderful. It's something I am using more and more as time goes on.

Right, onto the real point of this message. Very often, I get a file error after copying a block of text to the clipboard. Indeed, the block of text does not seem to copy, although I am told that x number of characters have been copied. If I then try and paste the clipboard, I get whatever was in the clipboard before. The only way I can seem to clear this is by taking the batteries out of the bookport. A usual reset does not seem to work.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening. I am using the latest firmware I believe, and as I say, it seems to be sporadic.

Thanks for any help.

Regards

Donna
