Hi Brian,

The only reason to use the BP at this point is that I'm trying to grab some
files off the old 98 that I have taken out of a business office for the
weekend, , have the BP in my hand and want to save the trip down to the
store to get a reader.

        Hello.  The answer is, maybe.  If you can find a Windows 98 driver
for a USB mass storage device, then you might be able to make it work.
However, is there a reason you'd like to use the Bookport over another more
generic flash card reader?  They're pretty cheap, and, typically, faster at
reading and writing flash.  Plus, you won't kill the batteries on your
Bookport.
