And in general, card readers come with the necessary drivers on a CD as part
of the package.

Hello. The answer is, maybe. If you can find a Windows 98 driver for
a USB mass storage device, then you might be able to make it work.
However, is there a reason you'd like to use the Bookport over another
more generic flash card reader? They're pretty cheap, and, typically,
faster at reading and writing flash. Plus, you won't kill the batteries on
your Bookport.
