You can change the K1000 so that it will send to any Bookport folder you wish. Go to properties for your device in the Send To Menu and either type in the folder or enter a questionmark and the K1000 will list all of your folders and you can simply select one.

I have had the same problem and you must turn book port on and have it connected and it will find the book port and down load the files but it will put them in the root directory.
What I do is to go to my documents and find the kerzweild folder go in there and look for the subfolder where you put your books and go in there then send them to the book port that way.

If any one has a better way please share it with me thanks.

Subject: [bookport] Downloading from Kurzweil

Hi, All,

I have a bunch of Bookshare books in my Kurzweil folders. I saw a send to Bookport feature from Kurzweil, and so tried to do it believing that it would save me some time because everything I wanted was already there. I opened the books, and saved a text copy of those I wanted to download because I did not have success in simply opening the book and trying to send to bookport. However, when I select bookport and everything appears to be good, it always says that the transfer failed. I haven't yet read the manual completely for Bookport Transfer, and consequently am having problems with that. I though the quick and dirty way would be to download from Kurzweil. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!
