No, I don't have all my files in the root directory. I just mean I don't have more than one level of directories right now. I sometimes have three or more levels of directories within directories.

Transferring files:
I open the Windows Explorer program (that comes with Windows). I highlight my files, right mouse click on them, and select Send To Bookport. Instead of using the mouse, you can also highlight the files and then select Alt-F (for the File drop-down menu), then select Send To Bookport.

Bookport Transfer actually has to be running for the files to transfer to the Bookport.

>Having a 1-level directory isn't really a very good idea. If you get too many files in the root directory, the Bookport will start to do strange things. When you say you >transfer texts using Windows Explorer, what do you mean by that? If you don't use the BP Transfer, your files will be unindexed. When I use Windows Explorer, I right->click on a folder, go to the "send to" menu and choose Bookport. This way, the BP transfer is utilized.
