I had a similar problem a few months ago--I guess it was near the end of 2005,
if memory serves. All of my bookmarks
were vanishing! I noticed it mostly in audio files, though. No one was ever
able to reproduce it.
Sorry I don't have any help for you. I haven't had the problem in quite a long
time (knock on wood).
