[bookport] Device not recognized

On two original bookports when I connect to the computer I get the message that a USB device is not recognized. I believe the computer has the most recent updates. Is there a way to get past this USB device not recognized message? I so prefer reading with Double Talk instead of the replacement synthesizers of the other text readers.

Yes it is being recognized by the PC.
And I did format the card and also tried more than 1 card.

Please check to be sure the unit is being recognized by the PC. You will be able to tell by looking at the bp status in the Book Transfer. Also, you may want to try reformatting the Compact Flash card or try a different card. If it still cannot be updated, please let me know and I'll see if the file is still up on the server and I will supply you with the direct link and instructions.
