I think you missunderstood my question. I do have Media Player 10, and transfers to my DS player work fine. I just keep running up against a suggestion that I can convert to MP3 using windows media player and then transfer to book port, but my media player won't do it. The faq doesn't even address that question; so, how do I convert to MP3?
