I had this case already for a mini disk recorder I had purchasd and I = find it to work quite well with my BoopPort. It has 2 mesh pockets, front and back, the BP fits into one, and I put = the earbuds in the other. The outer cover of the flap is leather and the = belt part is very stable with a good plastic buckle latch and well made. Both of those pockets are open however and one has to take care and not = let contents fall out of either. The two flaps and are closed via velcro. I got the case from Crutchfield. www.crutchfield.com The part number and item name is:=20 158MDCASE3 Sony MDCASE3 Net MD Walkman Armband=20 Cost was $14.99=20 I haven't seen any problems with using the BP belt clip myself and have = used it a little bit, though I do prefer to have the unit in a belt case or something like it.=20 As for this update stuff... I am still a new BP user and have not tried any of this firmware = software update stuff yet. After reading all of these issues you folks have been having,, I'm = content to just stay with using my unit for reading at present and I don't know about using the firmware update. I was surprised at reading about using = the headphone since I thought I had read in the manual not to have them on = while hooked up to the USB port. =20 ? - So when I first hook up the unit, I have to actually okay the = update? I thought that the Transfer utility did it all automatically. Maybe = someone can set me straight. Ok, After the third time I have had the unit fall off my belt I=20 have made an executive decision. I am taking my bp to the machine=20 shop tomorrow and having the POS belt clip removed! And then I am=20 taking it to a leather worker that I know and having a case made=20 for it. Actually I am stealing a clip off of an old Motorola cell=20 phone case and having him make me one. At a cost of $400 I can=20 not afford to have a cheap assed belt clip cost me my unit. If=20 there were one area that needs to be addressed it is this one.=20 for me I am solving it myself, but how many users out there do=20 not have the access to a machine shop or leather workers that can=20 solve an inherent design flaw. So far this is my one and only=20 complaint about the unit. for all of us I would ask that APH=20 takes a look at this.
