It would be even better if we had an in-shower Dile up or high speed connection...(some books are kind of a wash-out anyway!

In the shower, I'd expect people to listen to MP3 files of their favorite
soaps.

If we took it into the shower would it then be a Fish Port? This is a real
watershed!!

If you could take the BP into the shower with you, that would be the
life!!At 08:40 PM 5/15/2006, you wrote:
Well, looks like we need another feature on the next model of the Book
Port! Do we need a floatable Book Port, a water resistant Book Port, or
one with fins?

Actually, I wonder how difficult it would be to make the next model water
resistant. I am not saying water proof, but maybe it wouldn't be that
difficult to make it more resistant to getting water into the part of the
unit where the main board and parts are that could be damaged by moisture.

: Paula, I would suspect that depending on how far the unit was dropped,
: the puddle may be only part of the problem. Have you tried mouth to
: mouth. Sorry, I couldn't pass that up. Let us know if it works. No,
: I'm not making fun of you. It's not very nice when something like this
: happens. Perhaps it will dry out and be OK. When did this unfortunate
: accident occur?
:
: P.S. And where would one find the mouth of the bookport anyway? Hmmm!

: Well, the subject says it all.
: My bookport dropped into a puddle and is very, very, dead.
: Interestingly enough, the flash card is fine. I am using it with my
: other Bookport. Is it possible to repair a Bookport after this type of
: catastrophe, or is it cheaper just to buy a replacement? If it can be
: repaired, is it possible for you to provide me with an approximate cost?
: Next, what is the procedure for obtaining repairs if the product is no
: longer under warranty; (not that a warranty should even cover something
: like this: definitely my fault).
:
: Thanks,
