Yes, but that wasn't my question. I am using a USB 2.0 compatible card reader, and the fact is that a 100 MB file takes longer to send to my 4 GB flash card than it does to send to my 1 GB flash card, with the exact same reader. Also, big capacity allows big content, which takes time when moving around. ----- Original Message ----- From: Grant Hardy To: Book Port List Sent: Sunday, 14 January, 2007 22 22 Subject: [bookport] CF card problem Hi All, I've noticed that with my new 4 GB compact flash card, navigation between files on the Book Port is often sluggish. Navigation within a file works just fine, but switching between files takes 1 or two seconds. Also, although I have a USB 2.0 CF card reader, it is only copying files to the card with speeds equivalent to USB 1.1. Admittedly, this is an older card reader from a few years back. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? Grant ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message.
