Hi all. I'm running firmware 1.1 Test 8, and have transferred some web =
braille files via the most recent beta of the transfer tool. I've =
discovered that when navigating rapidly by page or article, the seven =
and nine keys and their one-beep counterparts respectively, the unit can =
crash requiring either a 2+B reset or a removal and re-installation of =
the batteries to restore functionality. The problem appears to be most =
prevalent when the user is trying to navigate quickly, as with locating =
the beginning or continuation of an article which is continued from one =
volume to the next. I have been able to produce the behavior relatively =
consistently with the next and previous page commands, but not so =
reliably with the previous and next article commands. For most of my =
testing, I used volumes one and two of the April issue of PCWorld from =
Web Braille, though I've seen the behavior in books as well. Anyone else =
seen this behavior? I didn't see this in Firmware 1.0.4, and didn't read =
with 1.1 test seven enough to know whether this particular bug was there =
or not. APH staff are welcome to contact me with further questions. Many =
thanks.
Jeremiah
