Hi Rob
Maybe I did not express myself clearly. I had a 256mb card in the bp. Now I
bought a 1gb card for the bp and I want to use the 256mb card in the
pacmate. When putting the 256mb card in the pm I get that message when
trying to copy files to the pm.
Thanks
Fanus

Fanus:

Try formatting with the Book Port. I would skip the PAC Mate steps
altogether, since I don't see what purpose they might serve, other than
testing the card.

Hi Listers
I hope someone can help. I obtained a cf card with more storage for my book
port, so I took the 256mb card from the bp and put it in my card reader and
formatted it with win xp. I received no errors but when I put the card in
the pm and try to copy files to the pm I get the following message:
"cannot
copy file ... Access is denied. Make sure that the mobile device has enough
memory, that the file is not set as read only and that you have permission
to copy this file type."
Is there a way to solve this problem? O yes, and I can copy files to and
from the card when it is in the card reader.
Would it help to put the card back in the bp and format it there first?

Thanks
Fanus
