Are you absolutely sure that you oriented the batteries properly in the
BP? When you first inserted them, there should have been an
announcement. With the battery compartment open and toward the bottom of
the unit, the lower battery goes in with the positive end to the left
and the upper battery goes in with the positive end to the right.=20

Subject: [bookport] Bookport stopped working.

The other day my batteries needed  to be replaced.  I replaced them.
After that I get no sound from the bookport.  I checked to see if the
batteries worked in another device.  They did.  Tried a reset and
anything else I could think of.  The is no sound at all from the
bookport.  Any suggestions. Oh I also tried another memory card.
