Hi,
How odd--I just experienced the same problem today. In my case, I'm pretty sure
it's because my BP had a weak
headphone jack. The headphones have always been loose in the jack for my
machine. I have experimented with about
15 other Book Ports through my work, and mine is the only one that seemed to
have this loose headphone jack issue.
Anyway, I think the jack in mine just gave out. I guess it's back to APH for
repairs for my BP...
