will fo. but will not be ablew to update untill the new coumpter comes
back.it been sent in for repairs.it died the day after i started using
it.but since updating to jaws9 it sloved the conflicts i was having with
sapi 5 voice.
at least on termite torepodo.iam not sure about the other issue i was having
with it. as i did not get to try it out.

i could still not download the softwareeither.
but i still had my originaldisc and that still works.

Ok I still can't update book port.
Think it mite be a problem at aph end.

I tried sending the Sunday newspaper to the software and when I start the
software it says there are files queued . I click on send and I get a
message saying.

C:/documents and settings/georges application data/apa/book port
transfer/pending/dtbs/Saturday/o879e6816-0001-d3.smil

thanks for letting us know.i was also trying to update.
the thing just froze on me.the old version worked.buti i  relise it was not
having the sapi5 voice that has prenveted me in the past from updating.

I was having the same problem.  I called APH and learned that the
website is having trouble.  If you have your disk, you'll have to use it
to reinstall and update when the site is back up.

I had to uninstall bookport and reinstall it again.
When bookport starts up, it says a new version of the software is
available.
I click on yes and it says downloading updates. But nothing happens.
How can I fix this?
