Hi:

First, be sure you are running the latest book port transfer software. You can
download the latest at:

http://tech.aph.org/bp_setup.exe

Once that is installed, it should see the latest or last firmware (2.3.0.

Since you are getting Index errors, you might try reformatting that compact
flash card or try a different card altogether.

If you continue to get index errors, there's probably not much else we can do,
as it is necessary the card is properly read in order for the firmware to be
properly installed.

Subject: [bookport] Bookport firmware update prolem

Hi.
I just received an old bookport.
When connecting it to the PC, the transfer software tells me that a
firmware update is required for the bookport in order to send files to
it. I select yes, check for updates, but then, after checking, it says
there are no firmware updates available.
Transferring files seems to work, but then afterward the BP says,
error reading index file.
When booting up the BP, it says, Bookport 1 2 0 ready.

Any tips?
Thanx
Jacques
