I have noticed with my 2+ week old bookport that some times it crashed especially with mp3 files but I think there are specific reasons for that though I haven't found them yet but like I think if you try to delete an mp3 file at the same time bookport reaches the end it may crash. But beyond that I just reset it or briefly remove batteries and it's happy again I also use it every day it's great I wouldn't bash it just because it's crashed occasionally With text I've had no problems at all -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Richard Ring Sent: Friday, September 30, 2005 4:33 PM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: Bookport Stability Ok, I am going to add one thing here. And I am not kidding. I use my Bookport every day, there is not one day that goes by when I don't use it at least a little. There is no device I have ever owned besides my computer and my stereo that gets nearly that much use! I couldn't be happier, and I know the machine is stable, I have probably read several hundred text books on mine and it still keeps going! -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Andrew J. I have contacted them for some questions on the item and had much success and satisfaction. I agree that the money I spent on the bookport is the best money spent on. It is one of the few items that I am totally happy with that was obtained via the mail. I will say this again, I am 51 years old and since I purchased this bookport, I have been reading various books in audio, bookshare and word and text documents more now than in any other times in my life and that is the honest to god truth. Thank you to all who are responsible for this fantastic device.
