[bookport] Bookmark error

As a follow-up, I notice that I can now get back into my file where I was
getting the buffer overflow, but none of my marks are there. I can place new
marks as I read and navigate to them, but if I connect the BP to my workstation
or even if I navigate away from the file and read another, when I return my
former marks are gone.
Using latest Beta.
