Jim, It's a great idea and, to some extent, Aph has already done this by increasing the navigation of .mp3 dfiles without having to run through the transfer software. However, much of the muscle of the BookPort is contained in the software. It enables Aph to overcome the limitations of the hardware. But in a future version, who knows?
