[bookport] BookPort Transfer Software issues

Hello
First, I have Win XP SP2, Norton A/V 2005 with subscription for
updates, run Spybot S&D and Lavasoft's Adaware for spyware
removal. My PC is clean. I use 2 routers as hardware firewalls.
All is working fine.
The BookPort is 1 of the best portable devices I have ever used.
Simply amazing.
I have owned the BP for almost 10 months now. I connect the BP
to the USB cable and the BP transfer pops up for me most of the
time. Sometimes the BP Transfer software doesn't pop up when I
connect the BP to the USB port. How come? And what should I do
if the BP transfer software doesn't launch?
When the BP Transfer does launch I minimize the application and
go to my external hard drive and choose a foler or files and
then I do a Applications Key on the keyboard and do a "Send to"
Bookport. After this the trnsfer begins with no issues.
My issues are listed below:
When I go to a website I do an Application Key and then a send
to BookPort. Nothing happens here. This is with the BP device
connected. I checked my task bar and nothing is there either
pertaining to the BP except for the BP transfer software
running.
With the BP not connected I cannot Que a website nor
folders/files. How come? I do this queing with the BP not
connected and later in the day when I connect the BP to the USB
no que screen appears here nor any transfer is done to the BP
device. How come?
The Spyder feature doesn't work for me either. How come?
I will wait for some help from you guys with this.
I may have to uninstall the BP Transfer application which
currently is the latest version 2.1+++. And reinstall the BP
Transfer's .exe again. Yes I know one goes to either the Start,
All Programs, area to uninstall or through the Control Panel's
Add/Remove area.
So what should I do? Uninstall and re-install BP Transfer or
wait about a week?
