no. You can get both batteries and the battery charger online for $5.00 or $10 at the most.

Yes, it's supposed to be portable. I like the removeable rechargeable battery idea. How about if for a little extra, aph gives you four rechargeable double a or a a batteries and a battery charger for $5 extra.

An AC adapter? I thought the whole idea was that the Bookport is a

I would like the ability to use rechargeable batteries in the BookPort and to be able to connect an AC adaptor that could run the BookPort and could also be used to charge rechargeable AA batteries.
