I'm not 100% sure, but I'm reasonably certain that the Doubletalk was used
in those two devices. It may have been an earlier release or it may have had
some of the adjustments that we don't have access to set in such a way as to
degrade the quality of the voice.

What the Book Port has is better than nothing, & some one has already said
that the Double Talk Speech is how APH kept the price down. I have heard
worse speech in more expensive products. I can understand this one. I
couldn't stand the speech in the Braille Lite or the Braille & Speak. That's
my .02.
