[bookport] Book Port quits

Hi BookPort staff,
When I turn the unit off with the 2 key and return later, I find that the
unit is dead. There is simply nothing. Using the reset (2 plus be) resets
the unit and restarts everything. However, at this point, the options such
as voice and speed have to be reset. I have tried new batteries which has no
effect. I am reading HTML files with the synthesised voice. This behaviour
started a couple of weeks ago and seems to be happening more frequently.
What is truly odd is that it doesn't happen every time but I am afraid that
the next time, it won't reset.
Oh yes, I am not running the latest beta. With this problem, I am afraid
that I would only complicate matters by installing it.
Any help will be appreciated.
