when the cases get old enough, I put cat nip in them. The cats just love
me.

The C Crane company makes a pillow speaker in a slightly furry case which
makes using it better.

I know about those lumpy pillows. As one who must fight insomnia, I find
rereading a book I like, but won't get caught up in, again, beats tossing
and turning all over the place. Earbuds don't have to be in your ears to
work. They can just be nestled up next to your head, like the cat.

In my case, the advantage would be making hubby feel good by getting me
the'latest and greatest'. He likes bells and whistles more than I. There
are some things I like about the stream...small external speaker, ease of
uploading books directly to the card and being able to influence the speed
of the read. Since I have it, I will keep it...to make him happy...and I do
use it. Right now, both book ports and the stream are stuffed under my
pillow so I can have a choice of reading material during the night.

Some would say I have the best of both worlds; I say I have a lumpy pillow.

I'm curious, what did you think the advantage of having a Stream would be
since you already had two book ports, smile.

I am the proud owner of 2 of the original Book Ports.

I find them to be well made, easy to use and very accomodating for the ways
in which I use them. It is not perfect, but I am pleased to have made their
purchase. I am the second owner of each and they came with a very nice
leather case. I could name things I would like improved but I have no
problem using the BPs just as they are. I feel they are solid, well made
and are capable of having me use them for even years to come.

BTW, my husband bought me a Stream. Yes I can read nls books on it, but at
this point, I have learned the truth I have learned about cars. Don't buy
one the first year they are in production. Let the kinks and bugs get
worked out before you spend your money. I wanted to send the Stream back,
but my husband insisted that I keep it.

When I am ready to read...especially read and travel...I reach for my Book
Port.
