This is general knowledge. APH has always acknowledged that Springer put the Book Port together again, and that they would be doing the Book Port II as well.

Since both products courier and port have had their new product line shelved, it seems blindingly obvious that the same company is responsible for both. Remember the Road Runner was also produced and supplied under both the APH and Ostrich Software brands, the latter becoming Springer Design who were responsible for the port and courier models. The port just has the more keys on the keypad and a couple of other hardware variences but is essentially the same as the courier with different firmware and software and marketted and supplied by APH.
